Tony has recently successfully completed the ScreenSkills Coronavirus basic awareness on production training to ensure he is equipped to be aware of, and follow, safe practices while on set.
Having finished filming ‘An Unlikely Guardian’ in Manchester, Tony has been cast in several roles which have allowed him to showcase his talents, as well as securing a future casting in ‘Gagged’ (Kent Independent Films). Roles include a bereaved Father (Numb), a violently homophobic father (Trial & Error), a retired RAF pilot set in the 1950’s (Best Blues), a sinister single parent (Son of Man) as well as several comedic characters.
Recent TV shoots have provided exposure in a new field and spawned a fresh drive to seek out new opportunities.
As a former Watch Manager in the UK Fire Service, with over 20 years’ experience, Tony has a very good knowledge of the way the UK emergency services function, both at operational and managerial levels. Formerly managing a standalone fire station, with two watches, has provided Tony with valuable communication and people skills. These he has transferred into his acting style giving his characters the ability to be masterfully forceful whilst gentle and sympathetic when required.
Tony is happily married and a loving Father to two daughters, who are also budding actors. An avid cyclist who enjoys the challenge of pushing himself every time he rides. Equally content to snuggle up in front of an open fire with the family and a bag of popcorn, to watch a film, or going for an evening out with family and friends. He enjoys travel and experiencing new cultures whilst relishing meeting new people.
A keen motorsport enthusiast, he currently holds a full clean motorcycle, car and HGV driving licence and has qualified as a fire service emergency fire appliance driver (EFAD).
